Live Draw
Put this page on a big screen. People scan the code with their phone and add their name, or their ideas for a group decision, straight onto the wheel. Spin when everyone's in, and the result shows on every phone.
Ideas for the wheel
How a live draw works
- Start the draw and give it a name, such as "Office raffle".
- Show the screen. People scan the QR code with their phone camera, or go to the join page and type the 4-letter code.
- They type their name and it lands on the wheel. One entry per phone.
- Close entries and spin. The winner appears on the big screen and on every phone at the same moment.
Good for
- Raffles and lucky door prizes at events, fetes and fundraisers.
- Classrooms: tick "Approve names first" so only the names you OK go on the wheel.
- Meetups, office parties and team days.
- Livestreams: show the QR code on stream and let viewers join from their phones.
- Group decisions: choose "Ideas to choose from" and everyone adds up to 3 ideas (where to eat, what to watch, what to do on Friday), then spin.
Fair and private
The winner is picked by the wheel on the host's screen with the browser's cryptographic random number generator, the same as every wheel on this site; see how it works. Only the names people type are kept, and each draw and its names are deleted 24 hours after it starts, or straight away when the host ends it.
"One entry per phone" stops accidental double entries; someone set on cheating could still join from a second phone, so for prizes that matter, check the winner in person.
